Sure- dig up my garden without asking

This Sunday morning we woke up to someone pounding on our cement wall with a chisel. Loren went downstairs to find out what or who it might be. There were some pipes leaking in our wall and I guess they wanted to fix them. So they worked away at the wall to attempt to expose the pipe so tomorrow a plumber could come in to fix the pipes. No one called us to inform us this would happen today. Next thing we knew they had a shovel and were digging up all the dirt on the right side of our yard. Loren ran outside to ask what they were doing. They said the landlord decided we didn't need that yard portion and they could just fill it with cement because it was leaking water when it rained. If you don't understand what I am talking about right now- your not alone- we don't get it either. Looking outside our window to our little yard plot we have hole on the right and my garden on the left. Thankfully we stopped them before they dug up my whole garden I planted. Now they are waiting on their boss to get here to determine what the problem is and to bring some other tools besides a chisel and a shovel. (I would think that the boss would come BEFORE digging up our yard). They are also waiting on our landlady to see why she said to put cement over there. As I type this out it is raining super hard and creating a nice mud hole where they were digging. I am not sure what is going on. The workers don't even know what is going on. I am so proud of my little garden and I hope they wont dig it up! I planted Zucchini, Onions, Broccoli, Tomatoes, cilantro & lettuce. Yesterday we had our annual Turkey Bowl at Alliance. There were 6 different flag football teams. One of them was our Youth World team. The championship was between Youth World and AAI faculty team. Youth World ended up reclaiming the title after not having it for years with AAI faculty usually winning. The day was beautiful and the community got together for a good skill oriented time. A student took these two photos of our team in a huddle and me right before the ball was hiked. I took the photo of Loren running down the field to catch a long pass!
